Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Sales Specialist to add to our expanding team!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Initiating and developing long-term relationships with individual agents and agencies to contract and sell all ancillary product lines
  • Marketing insurance products and services offered by Ritter to agents and agencies within assigned territory
  • Provide knowledgeable support to agents and agencies via phone, email, and live chat regarding their ancillary business
  • Make targeted outbound calls to agents/agencies interested in offering insurance products for a specific carrier
  • Make quarterly courtesy calls to top agents within assigned territory
  • Continued agent outreach focusing on increasing current agent engagement and production in their primary territory
  • Take incoming calls with questions within assigned territory
  • Develop and present marketing content and copy to be used for the recruitment of agents to appoint with ancillary products
  • Attend carrier trainings, events, and webinars as required
  • Minimal regional travel is required to build business relationships throughout the area

 

Skills / Requirements

  • Superior relationship building and business development skills
  • Active Life/Health Insurance License (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and written
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn proprietary computer systems
