Job Description

Ritter Insurance Marketing is seeking a Junior Data and Reporting Analyst to be responsible for all areas of reporting, such as defining business requirements; gathering data; and  developing and validating reporting, training, and report documentation. This position offers a hybrid work-from-home schedule upon completion of training.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
  • Developing, publishing, and scheduling reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Visually and creatively representing and sharing company data
  • Regularly using Power BI, SSRS, Excel and similar tools
  • Conducting meetings and promoting analysis results
  • Taking initiative to advance company use of data and statistics
  • Supporting business stakeholders with in depth process analysis
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions

 

Skills / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, information technology, computer science, or closely related field preferred but not required
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with reporting tools, such as SSRS, Power BI, and Google Data Studio
  • Experience with business intelligence, data integration, analysis, and report creation
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
  • 3+ years of experience as a data reporting analyst, report writer, or related position
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand and create basic SQL statements
