Ritter Insurance Marketing is seeking a creative, energetic, and results-oriented Copywriter to add to our rapidly growing Marketing team!

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Writing clear and persuasive copy for marketing department campaigns including blog posts, website copy, email blasts, direct mail, sticky posts, white papers, articles, scripts, banners, press releases, and flyers
  • Working with design, digital, development, and sales teams to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Working within tight deadlines and responding to feedback in a timely manner
  • Writing and checking copy for spelling and grammar errors
  • Researching the technical properties of the products/companies assigned to you
  • Considering laws and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations governing copy
  • Assuming responsibility for miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills / Requirements

  • Associate's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related field is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)
  • Basic understanding of insurance and insurance sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with database tools and knowledge of Internet Technology
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Good customer service skills

  • Basic comprehension of computer programs, website development and basic coding, including HTML
